It was a birthday gift for my daughter. She was pleased with the ease of installation & happy with the operation. I may order another one for a grandson who is buying his first home.
I have been using this doorbell for almost two months, both the doorbell and the chime is working well. Good dealeasily set up with the instruction and connected with my family’s phones. Multiple phones can receive notification wherever we are and watch the live view at the same time. The doorbell installed far away from my router, so i bought a wifi extender. With the strong wifi signal, the video quality is great and its two-way talk is super clear. Motion detection works pretty good but sometimes has some lags with the medium sensitivity. Videos automatically records when someone stays there for a while. It seems it can record unlimited videos. Not sure, might depend on the storage. But for sure it doesn’t need any monthly subscription fee.
Motion detection lags, got the camera posted at the front door and it picks up the motion after someone has already entered.

It is so thoughtful to come with an after sale letter, including detailed and clear instruction advice. It’s easy to set up/install with this letter and the user manual along with the device. From the product perspective, everything works well until now. It has decent image quality and video recording function. It’s so convenient that i can still see and talk to my visitors even when i go to gym. The chime comes with the device is easy to connect with the doorbell. I install it in my living room so i can hear the sound and get notification from my phone every time someone press the doorbell. For installation tips, you can either use screws or glue to mount the doorbell but i would recommend the first one, which secures it better. In overall, it’s a good product and definitely a recommendation for it and bylover.

Warning about the Motion Detection
The motion detector can be triggered only when the app is running in the background or shut down. It’s inactive if you are in the live view, since it assumes that you are watching the doorbell and you know what is happening, so there is no need to detect and send notification.
Motion Detection
1. The build-in motion detector enables the doorbell to detect motion and send notifications to your devices.
2. You can disable the detector, or enable it and set its sensitivity as one from the three levels: ‘low’, ‘medium’, ‘high’.
3. You can also choose to receive or not receive the notifications.
To allow the Motion Detection and Notifications:
- Make sure your phone is not in ‘Do not Disturb mode
- Tap ‘General’ -> ‘Push message’ -> ‘Notifications’, allow notifications
- Go to settings -> ‘Motion Detection Sensitivity’, set ‘low’, ‘middle’, or ‘high’
- Make sure the SD card has been insert into the doorbell
