Purchased for my 5 yr old as it says kid proof. I also didn’t open all get photos in the listing and only looked at the main photo as attached. Only the finest realtor can take photos at this perspective. anyway, it worked right out of the box. The lights on the outside, red/green/white was a nice surprise adding to the realism of flight. The box says 14+ but the description makes it seem like this is appropriate for much younger children. It’s got many auto control features such as altitude control, auto land and others. It’s fast, fun and interesting. I’ll update again after christmas on the battery and general play.

I bought this for my 4 1/2 year old grandson to fly. He has been flying my x4, with my help, for some time. This drones controls are the same as my x4 so he is some what used to what stick does what after i got it adjusted he does petty well, but needs more flying time. The drone is stilling climbing some instead of holding gps in place and i can not find a trim for that. Overall i like it and my grandson is in love with it.

When i told my husband it was for the kids, he insisted no it was not. Lol we have had a lot of fun with it both inside and out. I believe more advanced drone owners would want a more advanced product. They would however spend much more to get such an item. This particular one is truly great quality for the price. Great for kids you want to be able to have fun but not be concerned with it being broken the first time it crashes and also great for adults who are just learning and playing around. We’ve only had it a few days so far but have tried it out at least twice each day. I will have to have it a bit longer before i am able to confirm the battery life. It didn’t die on us yet and we used for at least 15/20 minutes a few times. We have unfortunately crashed it more than once already too and it’s still perfectly fine.

This is my first drone i purchased for my kids 5 and 7. After receiving it, the auto hover altitude is great. After just getting another drone without, i see that it is necessary for a beginner or child to need the auto altitude. Comparing to the other drone i have this mini drone is very accurate and very stable. Controls are a bit to understand with the instruction book, but you can get it after a bit. 3 speeds are great, auto launch and land is awesome as my 5 yr son loves using that hahathe was it is designed is not fully durable, but it can definitely take beginner abuse and many crashes. I would not recommend taking it outside if any wind is blowing at all, and keep it close. My recommendation would be to use it as an indoor only, that was only a 10ft drop will save it from too hard of landing. Communication with the seller is extremely efficient and prompt. A+ seller and a+ for the drone.

Not a bad little drone for someone who is just getting into flying drones. Here’s what i’ve found owning this for over a month:charging cable – not a fan of the connector as if it gets damaged, harder to replace. I do like the leds to help determine when fully charged. I would hope a usb micro or something similar in the future could be used on later models. I’ve done a lot of dumb things with it so far in terms of crashing into items and such. Still ticking, haven’t had to replace parts yet, so there’s that controller – there are good and bad things on the controller. The controller size and buttons are good and responsive. My complaint is that there are several buttons that don’t seem to have a function built in for the drone, almost like it works with many other models.
