I owned an arlo camera system before. The buyer of my previous house included the system in the contract. I was looking for something cheaper with similar capability and functionality with no monthly payment for cloud storage. Zeeporte cameras are exactly what i need and more. I bought 3 cameras and 3 micro sd cards for storage. These little cameras work exactly like arlo cameras but are cheaper. I got them a few months now.

Needed a camera to cover the area behind the garage. This is an incredible cameramonitors motions extremely well. Came with all the mounting hardware needed for a secure install. Comes down easily for charging. Two way audio is crystal clear, and comes in handy while the kids are playing outside. The user interface in the app is super clean, simple, and easy to use. Battery life on one charge is incredible. Notifications are lightning quick to my phone and watch. Night time vision is impressively clear.

7/12/2020 update: battery out of the box lasted about 6 weeks. At 17% started to received messages through app to recharge the unit. Still very pleased with the camera. Thinking about gettting a second one for the back yard. ————————————————————–camera was easy to install and connect to my google pixel and wife’s iphone. First picture is of the location camera installed. Second picture is screen capture from my phone at 8:00pm prior to sunset. Third picture is around 9:30 pm with sun set completely. Fourth picture is a photo around 9:30pm from looking out our front door to show it was completely dark out. The porch light was not on when i took the third photo. The nightime photo is incredible. Motion detection sends an alert to your connected phone through the app. Able to speak with anyone in range of the camera.

It’s a small unit with a huge appeal. Initial setup (connect to wifi, download app) took me a couple of tries but once i moved the unit near the modem during setup (which is mentioned in the instructions) i was successful. The instruction book is not very detailed after the setup so i just started poking around with the app and found what i needed pretty quickly. It’s simple to customize for how sensitive you want the camera’s motion detection, how loud the alert is, etc. For the first week i’ve had it set up inside the house while i got used to it, but my intention is to mount it near the front door exterior. The photos i took inside my home were after full dark outside, so you can see how good the night sight is. No lights on inside the home when these snaps were captured. I’m very pleased with it, and it gives me peace of mind that i have another measure of protection for me and my home.

We were in search of a wireless video doorbell but nothing seemed like it would be sufficient to fit in the space we wanted. Then duh, we figured we will just get a camera because nothing is wrong with our doorbell anyway. This far exceeded our expectations. Motion detection sends alert soon as someone is in range. The camera quality is excellent, we have it set in hd mode when it picks up motion to record, otherwise it’s in sd mode to conserve battery and such. The speakerphone is the icing on the cake because you communicate clearly without stepping a foot outside. We currently have 2, one in the front and one in the backyard. I would highly recommend this camera to anyone. The only minor issue is the battery doesn’t stay charge as long as they say, but it’s nothing to take down and charge, and with all the great features i can care less about that part. Oh, and the setup was super fast and easy, probably because i didn’t do it, but it looked easy, lol.
