Majority Teton 32 Inch 2
I’d like to preface this by saying that i studied sound engineering in college. I also designed and sold high end home and car audio systems in my early 20’s i’m a nerd for sound and tend to be super picky. I’ve owned speakers from boston acoustics, b&w, jamo, jl audio, mb quart, infinity, and senheiser. This is the 4th sound bar i’ve purchased since november 2020 and the 4th i will be returning. Not for the reasons you might think either. Majority has been around for 20 years and they do a really good job of balancing features, sound quality, and price. The majority audio teton is a fantastic example of this ethos. For a sub $55 price point this is a great option for an older tv in a guest bedroom, kids room, or other seldom used room where better audio is a ‘nice to have’ as opposed to a ‘must have’. The first thing that struck me about the unit was it’s weight – or lack thereof. I’m not sure it’s because i’m spoiled but i wasn’t impressed with the build quality.
I purchased this sound bar for my wife. We have been using nakamichi nk1b sound bars for the last four years. While the nakamichi nk1b is quite powerful at 30 watts rms, and sounds really great for a sound bar that has a frequency response of 70 hz-20,000 hz, she disliked the remote ( which i have no problem with ). The connections and cables supplied are great for the price paid. It is lighter and feels a little less robust in the hand compared to the nk1b, yet sounds really good for the price. The hdmi input, and control options that come with that are really nice. The only time one really needs the sound bar remote is to adjust the preset eq. Set it and put the remote away. I am not sure what power rating this unit has, but the literature states the frequency response is 30 hz-20,000 hz.
Omg the clarity and quality sound i get from this sound bar is amazingly shocking. I’m super geeked about this product.
Your browser does not support html5 video. great sound for the price. . I use this soundbar outside on my deck. We use it for tv and bluetooth music . I moved it to my family room, sound is great.
Great product for the money,,,,, love it it came with all the cords and cables that you need for any connections u need to use. It’s a nice looking sound bar and the sound is good. . Just turn up the volume on your tv then use the sound bar remote to control the volume its great. It also comes with an extra 3year warranty. The only thing is my box was banged up and it wasn’t packaged well for shipping. Just a brown box over the manufactures packaging. But thankfully the product was ok. . Just got it so we will see.
